A private workspace for your business.
Run your projects with your own people, out of sight, and open a piece of the work to outside help only when you decide to. Everything below is live today.
CoLabEx is in an early-access beta. Everything on this page is live today; anything still planned is listed under “Good to know.”
Coming from Trello or Asana? The difference isn't the board — it's that a task here carries what it pays, in cash or equity, and approving it writes a real ownership record. Those tools track work; this one also settles who earned what.
What you can do
Your company's projects, tasks and members stay off the public network. Only people you add can see them.
Invite people by email as owners, managers or members, and choose who is allowed to ask for something to go public.
When you want outside help, request to make a whole project, one section or a single task public. Your designated approvers sign off first, so nothing leaves the building by accident.
Task lists, boards and timelines, dependencies and a critical path, milestones, deliverables, goals, shared docs, budgets and expenses, a workload heatmap, automations, and printable status reports.
Import a task list from a spreadsheet or another tool, with a preview before anything is created.
Give a client a private link that shows a project's status and milestones — never what anyone is paid — and turn it off any time.
Search the Talent Directory by skill, points and practice-test results, favorite the people you like, and invite them straight to a task.
Opt in to a company page with your logo, description and the ratings you've earned. It's off until you choose.
Publish a form so outside people can send you a request without needing an account.
Tasks can carry cash, equity or credit values, and the platform keeps the record of what each person did and is owed.
How it starts
- Create an account and start a company.
- Once CoLabEx has reviewed it, create projects, add your people and break the work into tasks.
- Keep it private, or push what you choose to the public Task Board when you're ready for outside help.
Companies choose whether to be listed publicly at all — this is the directory of the ones that have.

- A new company is reviewed by CoLabEx before it can create projects. You get a workspace to set up while you wait.
- CoLabEx keeps records of agreed pay and ownership; it does not move money or issue equity. You handle actual payment, contracts and taxes.
- Today every company member can see the company's projects. Finer control — letting a person see only the projects they're assigned to — is planned.
- Company billing is built but not switched on yet, and custom branding (white-label) is not self-serve.
Accounts are free while CoLabEx is in early access, and spots are limited.
